The European Youth Event (EYE2021) took place from 8 to 9 October and brought together 10,000 young people online and in Strasbourg, to  to shape and share their ideas for the future of Europe.

EYE2021 was the culmination of the European Parliament's youth consultation process for the  Conference on the future of Europe. Launched in May 2021, in collaboration with pan-European youth organizations, young people's ideas on the future of Europe have been gathered on  youthideas.eu  . The top 20 most impactful proposals have been consolidated into a  ideas report for young people, presented to conference members and included in the policy debate.

Although only the most popular and top-rated ideas are part of the  Youth Ideas report, all ideas posted on  youthideas.eu  are available to citizens and decision makers on  search.youthideas.eu  .

EYE is a unique opportunity for 16 to 30 year olds  to interact  in person and online,  be inspired by  each other and  to exchange  opinions with experts, activists, influencers and decision makers, right in the heart of European democracy.

Under the slogan "The future is ours", EYE2021 has been organizing online activities from October 4th, until  to the main event of 8 and 9 October 2021, which included  online and in-person activities  in Strasbourg, as well as new ones  hybrid formats.

This year EYE got the  ISO 20121 certification  for the sustainable management of events. EYE is committed to promoting  equality, inclusiveness and sustainability  with a strong commitment to  accessibility  for everyone. Our goal is to meet the needs of all participants and implement actions that make the event sustainable and respectful of the environment.
